William Sutter is an experienced professional specializing in real estate, technology, and investment strategy. As Director, Housing Innovation at GroundBreak Ventures, he leads initiatives that advance innovative housing solutions and guide venture capital investment strategy and analysis.
William's background spans both the public and private sectors. He worked in Acquisitions at Jonathan Rose Companies, where he was involved in sourcing and underwriting affordable housing investments. At KPMG, he provided strategic advice to government, real estate and infrastructure clients, and at the Ontario Government, he worked on urban policy and climate resilience initiatives.
Earlier in his career, William was a Sidewalk Toronto Fellow at Sidewalk Labs, where he researched policy and innovation in the built environment.
